Somali Elders
Somalis have been in Wales, mainly Cardiff, for more than 100 years - since shortly after the opening of the Suez Canal in 1869. This book features the stories of my family and community members, whose resilience and accomplishments make me incredibly proud. It renders visible the history that, like many other Black Britains face, has been rendered invisible.
